Assistant Professor of Dance Jen Guy Metcalf describes the sports imagery that inspired her choreography for “Time Enough,” as student dancers from the Elon Dance Company turn her images into movement in their Dance Decoded demonstration for PULSE: The Spring Dance Concert on March 13, 2016 at the McCrary Theatre. Professor Metcalf drew inspiration from sports like rugby, wrestling, and tug-of-war for “Time Enough,” and imagined her dancers as gladiators competing for the crowd’s favor.
